So today was awesome because i received a box stuffed with free Lush products! Last Friday i tweeted at Living The Lush Life to enter a small contest they had going, and ended up winning, which was a huge surprise because… well i never win anything. I know everyone says that, but still. This couldn’t have come at a more perfect time, because the trains into Boston on the weekend have completely come to a hault (bastards), so i have no way to get to Newbury Street Lush that i frequent when i’m out here. I’m extremely excited to try out everything, especially the two soap samples that i’ve never tried before. 

Living The Lush Life is run by a couple who love LUSH and are dedicated to giving thorough and honest reviews on all of their products. They have a Twiter as well as a blog, and do lots of contests, giveaways, and updates on all things LUSH.

Wow, today I got to meet Nic, one of our Master Compounders! That means he’s mastered the art of making every single Lush product and many people consider his products to be the best quality. He came in to meet us while vacationing near Minneapolis. He’s worked for Lush for 10 years and is originally from Uganda. He’s amazing and I feel so lucky to have met him. BUFFING BAR

I can’t say enough about this bar. It is a MUST HAVE in your shower/bath. When I first purchased it at “lush” I didn’t get all excited because I didn’t want to be let down but this bar really does work.

One side smooths and moisturizes the skin while the other side exfoliates. It’s A-MA-ZING! For only $11 (small bar) you can get 2 full body applications out of it.

I have the large bar ($22) and use it every other day on arms, legs, & feet. Once a week I’ll do full body and it lasts a long time.

Now that I have the buffing bar I hardly use lotion anymore. I use it on my feet then put socks on to lock in the moisture so my feet stay soft.

I highly recommend this bar to everyone…yes that means you men out there can use it also.
